KO Solutions LLC was founded in 2008 by Gail Young. Gail has been in the US Government and Commercial Acquisition field since 1976. During this time she has held positions in the government and industry, as a buyer and seller, as a negotiator, contracting officer, manager, and director of contracting professionals across the US. She issued and awarded Requests for Proposal, negotiated and managed contracts and subcontracts, worked on both domestic and international business assignments, obtained and maintained government approved purchasing system approvals and GSA contract schedules.   

KO Solutions’ focus as Federal Contracts Professionals and Consultants, is to create, maintain, and support the Client’s business team to achieve the total organizational objectives. These objectives include improving clients’ win rates through RFP analysis for mandatory requirements, evaluation criteria, and the creation of responses that ensure optimum compliance with the RFP while preserving the Client’s need for flexibility on various contract clauses. KO Solutions provides support to negotiations (with customers and/or suppliers), contract administration issues, pricing strategies, and government compliance requirements. KO Solutions additionally provides strategic planning support to senior management to facilitate a Client’s growth strategy and ensure that company infrastructure will meet government compliance requirements.

KO Solutions particularly excels at coaching and developing clients’ in-house personnel, to ensure that the client’s team understands prepared documents, recommendations, and strategic plan inputs. They are thus better prepared to replicate that expertise when similar issues develop again.
