Last fall, Federal CIO, Vivek Kundra, introduced a cloud computing initiative designed to cut spending on government data centers while still focusing on maintaining a high level of security. In response to this initiative, the security sector increased their focus on educating the federal security workforce about cloud security and the potential vulnerabilities associated with adopting this type of computing in government agencies.
