About Me:

Helen Chamberlain is a Section 508 Program Director for the General Services Administration's (GSA) Office of Governmentwide Policy (OGP), IT Accessibility and Workforce Division. She is the central point of contact for the Federal Government Section 508 Coordinator program and the implementation of the Section 508 Standard within the Federal Government. Before assuming her current position, Helen served as an Information Technology Liaison and IT Security Officer for the Office of Personnel Management, Chief Information Officer's Office (OPM/CIO). She also served as a member of the Federal CIO Council Education and Training Sub committee for the Federal Workforce Development Initiative.She has her masters certificate in project management and is also a graduate of the Assistive Technology Certificate Program at California State University at Northridge. She is a graduate of the Defense Systems Management College and the Defense Acquisition University and is Level 1 certified in the Army Acquisition Corps. She has also attained certification through the International Society of Configuration Management (ISCM) as a software configuration manager.
