About Me:

J. Stephen Fletcher, was appointed by Governor Jon M. Huntsman, Jr. in April 2005 to serve as the state’s Chief Information Officer and Executive Director of the Department of Technology Services. As Executive Director of DTS he is responsible for all of the IT activities for the State Executive Branch agencies. His efforts have focused on optimizing IT services to the State by eliminating redundancies, enhancing accountability of IT resources, and implementing effective performance management strategies. These efforts have resulted in an overall costs savings and enhancement of IT services to State Agencies. Currently, Mr. Fletcher is serving as President of the National Association of State Chief Information Officers.
