Federal IT Group
Hosted through a popular social network LinkedIn, the Federal IT Group serves as a unique online community for a unique blend of professionals. Its members (both from the government and vendor community) come together to share their expertise in technology solutions for federal agencies, exchange ideas, and address common challenges. The discussion topics that generated the most interest over the past few months included the Open Government Initiative, data center productivity, and small business contracting.
The group membership has just passed the 800 mark and continues to grow. Among those who joined the group recently are the Deputy CIO of the Federal Trade Commission, the Chair of the National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) Technical Architecture Committee, and the CEO of XaaS, Inc.
The Federal IT Group founders are proud of their ongoing partnership with the GTRA and will continuously strive to broaden our joint efforts to foster government-wide collaboration and promote technology innovation.
